GPRS
The acronym GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service, and refers to a packet-switching technology that enables data transfers through cellular networks. Used for mobile internet, MMS and other data communications, this technology is also known as 2.5, being a development of the 2G technology but not reaching the standards for 3G.
