Wireless In the Enterprise: Churn, Reimbursement, & Wireless Data Usage Patterns
In-Stat/MDR, May 2004, Pages: 43
In a recent survey (February 2004), In-Stat/MDR questioned more than 1,000 corporate users of wireless data services to determine how they used these services and what services and applications they most wanted. The results of this survey of business people show an increase of usage of wireless data services in the enterprise. Many of the findings were not surprising i.e. the most in-demand wireless data service was access to e-mail from a wireless device. More interesting was the fact that nearly one-third of those surveyed were very interested in services such as using their mobile phone on a WiFi network for voice access.
