David was a founder member of the Risk Management Specific Interest Group for the Project Management Institute (PMI). He has received a PMI Distinguished Contribution Award for his work in developing risk management over many years. David is also a Fellow of both the UK Association for Project Management (APM) and the UK Institute of Risk Management (IRM).
