About the Author Paul Evers is a market research consultant and writer, specialising in the pharmaceutical and other healthcare industries. He has researched and written detailed studies on a wide range of pharmaceutical and medical market sectors including vaccines and immunotherapy; also on pharma regulatory topics and on strategic issues such as product lifecycle management. He studied medical sciences at the National University of Ireland and holds an honours degree in biological sciences and humanities from The Open University in the United Kingdom. The early years of his career were spent working as a writer in major pharma companies; during the 1980s he was Director of Marketing for Elan Corporation, based in Ireland.
