Telecommunications services in the islands of Palau are provided solely by Palau National Communications Corporation (PNCC). The telecommunications infrastructure comprises digital switching and fibre optic technologies. Palau offers a full range of telecom services, including Internet access (PalauNet), cable television (Island Cable Television) and cellular telephony (PNCC Wireless). By 2008, it was among the highest penetration rates for landlines, mobile phones and Internet users in the South Pacific.
