This report provides data on currently used telecom services in the mid-sized business market. Also included is data regarding expected future use of existing and advanced telecom services, such as Integrated Access Services (IAS), as well as data identifying the channels used to purchase these services. Also explored are the levels of attractiveness of various services such as VoIP and Dedicated Internet Access, as well as some of the reasons that mid-sized businesses are not using these new services.
Along with information about what companies are currently employed as providers of multiple, or bundled, services, such as wireless voice or data services, also included is survey data on which other companies would be considered as providers of such services. Forecasts on the expected expenditures on IAS in the mid-sized business market over the 2004-2009 time period are presented. The forecasts in this report are broken out by the following size sub-segments: 100 to 249 employee firms, 250 to 499 employee firms, and 500 to 999 employee firms.
