This course covers the fundamentals of the money markets. All of the major money market instruments are examined in detail, including deposits, CDs, bills of exchange, commercial paper, treasury bills and repos. Price and yield calculations for these instruments are also covered. The course concludes by looking at money market futures, one of the most convenient and useful instruments available to market participants looking to hedge an existing or future interest rate exposure.
