The Asia-Pacific region is expected to provide the greatest increase in new business in the future, with the Middle East also an important developing client base. In contrast, traditional client markets such as Europe and the UK will provide fewer opportunities.
Between 2000 and 2004, Jersey has maintained its position as the dominant offshore banking hub in the British Isles, however Guernsey has seen good growth and favourable market conditions have significantly boosted the Isle of Mans position
