Australia - Digital Media - Broadband Video - Key players
Paul Budde Communication Pty Ltd., March 2007, Pages: 16
There is still confusion in the market in relation to broadband TV. While there are certainly opportunities for ‘TV and VoD’ applications, the future will be more along the lines of content produced by the users and viewers themselves. However, the first developments are very much along the lines of the more traditional services. This reports covers de progress of players such as Telstra BigPond, Reeltime, Anytime, Roo Media, M2B, VOD, Crank TV, EzyTV, Foxtel, Soul and others. So far the business models for these services have not yet eventuated and it is doubtful if they ever will, based on applying traditional business models to the new digital media.
