Mobile Worker Study: Apple iPhone Market
RDA Global, July 2007, Pages: 10
This new report Mobile Worker Study: Apple iPhone Market contains in-depth analysis of the market for iPhones among highly-mobile workers.
We conducted a semi-annual survey of workers using mobile devices, powered by GMI who provides respondent panels for the study. As part of the May 2007 mobile worker study, we interviewed 1,027 highly-mobile workers in the United States on their mobile device usage and included questions on plans to purchase an iPhone. The results of this survey cover only highly-mobile workers, a subset of the total user base of mobile devices.
We define “highly mobile workers” as workers over the age of 18 who fit into one of the following categories: - Workers who travel as part of their job - Workers who work at more than one business location - Workers who are mobile field service workers (such as couriers, transportation workers, maintenance and installation workers, etc.) - Workers who work from home at least part of the time - Workers who work from a different corporate desk every day
