In-Stat/MDR, July 2007, Pages: 16
When it comes to the performance of many business network functions like security, storage, and hosting, the mid-sized business market?100 to 999 employees?is slightly more likely than the total US market to adopt managed services. Based on new survey data, we have scaled back spending percentage growth somewhat in the mid-sized market compared to 2006 reports. Though somewhat scaled back, we still predict slightly higher managed services spending growth in the mid-sized market compared to overall US spending?CAGRs of 9% versus 8% through 2011, respectively. This report covers managed services adoption trends in the US mid-sized business market. There are two main sections in this report: The first section will focus on demand for managed services, including managed services adoption trends for multiple business network functions; also covered is demand for fully-managed IP telephony and fully-managed desktop solutions. The second section will focus on mid-sized business managed services spending. Survey data tables that detail current and future demand for all surveyed business network business functions are broken down to the mid-sized business sub-segment level.
