Although many of today’s consumers intend to shop for food and drinks ethically, the reality is often somewhat different. However, many suppliers across the world (encompassing both large and small-scale producers) have still entered into the ethnical food and drinks market, attempting to capitalise on these trends. Sales of ethical foods remain low compared with the overall market, but most sources expect the share taken by this sector to increase over the coming years.
