Trading veteran Larry Pesavento distills the knowledge of 40 years of trading into this book. Years of successful trading have taught Pesavento the importance of dispassionately planning each trade after the market closes and implementing the trade exactly as planned and exercising this discipline time and time again.  The main part of the book is nine patterns that Pesavento uses in his own successful trading.  The patterns can be successfully used in either short or long time frames and in both trending and range-bound markets.

A student of market history, some of the patterns used by Pesavento derive from the techniques of Wall Street traders in the early 1900s.  Other patterns reflect Pesaventos emphasis on the geometry of market movements and Fibonacci numbers.  Importantly, Pesavento shows traders how to identify patterns as they are developing and exactly where to place entry and exit orders. He shows traders how to take outright positions or how to use options in conjunction with the patterns. This is both a practical and sophisticated approach to trading the markets and will be of interest to both novice and seasoned traders.
