Introduction

Celgene is engaged in the discovery, development, and commercialization of therapies for the treatment of cancer and immunological diseases. Among seven marketed products, the companys lead product is Revlimid, an analog of thalidomide that is approved by the FDA for the treatment of MDS patients with the 5q chromosomal deletion and for the treatment of relapsed/refractory myeloma.
