China has become one of the most important forces in the world today. The book builds on the editors' and contributors' experience in working with major companies and governmental agencies on the issues they find crucial for their own strategies related to China. The book combines views of China's internal and external political relations, the fundamentals of its economic development, and the political-social-economic pressures that will influence China's future.
