About the author:
Lisa M. Brownlee, an attorney, was formerly a partner in Trenité Van Doorne, Amsterdam, and Of Counsel to Morrison & Foerster, Brussels. She has authored numerous articles and has lectured internationally on the protection and commercialization of intellectual property, privacy rights, and technology transfers. She currently teaches intellectual property management at the Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Brownlee is the author of Intellectual Property Due Diligence in Corporate Transactions: Investment, Risk Assessment, Management, published by West, and is currently authoring an intellectual property investment handbook for banking and finance professionals for West. She holds a J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law (Law Review, Lead Articles Editor), an M.A. in English from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of English from Pennsylvania State University.
