A Profile Of The Asia-Pacific Paint Industry

We are pleased to announce the availability of a new study for the Asia-Pacific region which covers 10 countries in more detail than has previously been possible. A Profile of the Asia-Pacific Paint Industry, 8th Edition offers an overview of the major markets across the region and insights into paint market sizes, consumption and future prospects for growth.
Further to the well-known potentials for China and India, there is considerable growth to be expected in Thailand and Vietnam and more modest growth in Malaysia and South Korea. In all, approximately 5.5 million tonnes of additional paint demand is to be expected across the 10 countries by 2011. Key drivers indicated for the region include:

Research for this study was undertaken by our Beijing office between September and December 2007 and took the form of an extensive series of interviews with industry executives across the region. The data also reflects extensive cooperation with a number of local paintmakers’ associations across.
