Nordic IT & Telecom Costs 2007-2009
Waagstein Research AB, Jan 2008, Pages: 47
Despite increasing IT spending in the past few years, the IT costs ratios in Nordic companies have followed a downward trend because other key figures such as turnover and number of IT users have increased at faster rates. The question is whether or not IT spending will start to overtake the latter or continue increasing at slower rates. Another important issue is what will happen with the IT spending when and if there is an economic downturn in the next coming years.
'Nordic IT & Telecom Costs 2007-2009' is designed to: - Provide IT cost key ratios for Nordic companies. - Report on the share of IT costs spent on outsourcing. - Show how the IT costs of Nordic companies are allocated on the resources that are invested in the IT operations such as hardware and staff. - Report on the share of IT costs spent on new development. - Display how the IT costs of Nordic companies are allocated on IT functions such as infrastructure and ERP systems. - Provide telecom cost key ratios.
Includes: - IT budgets from a representative sample of large Nordic companies - IT and telecom cost key ratios - Spending development and forecast 2004 to 2009 - Allocation of IT costs on IT resources and functions - IT development spending

The results from the survey are presented and analysed broken down by sector: Trade, Services, Manufacturing and Others. The others category includes companies that do not fit into any of the three industries, such as construction companies and electricity suppliers. The composite Nordic figures are weighted to reflect the actual composition of industry among large Nordic companies.

The target group of the report is primarily: CIO/IT managers, CFOs, Purchase managers, Outsourcing managers, Controllers, IT strategists, Consultants and CEOs.
