The Drug Delivery Report, published by PharmaVentures, focuses on companies involved in drug delivery, allowing them to be profiled to the pharmaceutical industry, but it also reflects the changing boundaries between drug delivery, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. It also highlights deal making trends revealed during the last six months and looks ahead to the future and the potential transformation of treatments for all manner of disease, due to the innovative technologies and products that are currently in development.
This edition of the DDR contains both overviews of the industry and deal-making analysis as well as articles that focus on specific technologies. The former section includes an analysis of trends in the drug delivery sector by PharmaVentures’ analysts and focuses on the types of drug delivery deals that are made. Also in this section is an article by Ruth Barrett (PharmaVentures) that looks back over events associated with Pfizer’s Exubera® and looks forward at the inhaled insulin market.
