We recently published a comparison of five market-leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, targeted specifically towards small enterprises. One of the evaluated products was Microsoft Dynamics CRM Version 3. Microsoft has subsequently released Version 4, a major upgrade to the product. This research note should be considered as a companion to the original Microsoft Dynamics CRM evaluation, conducted as part of the Info-Tech Decision Diamond vendor evaluation process.

This research note updates our previous evaluation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Version 4, including:

-A description of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.

-A discussion of new product features and capabilities in Version 4.

-Updated recommendations for small enterprises using or considering using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a suite of CRM tools focused at small enterprises that need a balance among sales, marketing, and service features. Microsoft shops will find software deployment and management familiar. Version 4 has added significant product features and the on-demand delivery option has undergone a complete overhaul. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Version 4 has become a viable option for small enterprises considering CRM, alongside our previously evaluated small enterprise CRM leaders Salesforce.com, SageCRM, and SugarCRM.
