Preserving the Environment - Recycling Program Awareness and Environmental Behaviors Among Americans
Frost & Sullivan, Oct 2008
Frost & Sullivan’s Preserving the Environment study measures and compares the awareness of recycling programs and environmental efforts as well as the environmental behaviors within the general U.S. population since 2006. Specifically, over 1,000 general consumers within the United States were surveyed regarding their awareness of environmental programs (i.e., community recycling programs, etc.), their past environmental behaviors (recycling, reducing energy use, carpooling, etc.) and likely future behaviors that are more environmentally friendly (i.e., having a home energy audit, purchasing a more fuel efficient vehicle, etc.). The research also shares and compares how Americans have changed and remained the same since 2006.
