Virtualised environments are not inherently secure, but they do offer features that assist in providing a secure processing environment. In 2008, there have been substantial advances in the approach to securing virtualised environments. This report focuses on the use of virtualised servers, discussing the issues, remedies and initiatives from virtualisation providers, and opportunities for security vendors and service providers.
