Daily Updates: Breaking Publications for the Drug Development Sector

- If your job depends on keeping up to date with breaking research articles and drug development news then you will be using one of the many keyword-based database search tools.

- DailyUpdates not only represent an important intelligence tool for R&D personnel, it is also a showcase for important research. As well as using DailyUpdates to track breaking information you may also wish to submit research to be listed. If you have recently published you can request listing through our submission center; if your paper meets our inclusion criteria we will be happy to list it. This is good for us because it helps us provide key information to our audience; just as importantly it is good for you if you are looking for exposure in order to attract licensing opportunities or simply recognition for your organization.
What DailyUpdates offers
- Breaking information key to preclinical & clinical development. DailyUpdates' panel of industry experts selects key information as it appears in the scientific literature or in press releases. Especial importance is placed on research & news items describing novel molecular targets; proof of concept data supporting emerging therapeutic areas; clinical activity of developmental drugs and; regulatory affairs
- Drug development news: Breaking news is selected from the major press release services such as PRWire & Business Wire. Drug development, clinical trial, and regulatory affairs releases are all listed and linked through to the full press release.
- Cutting edge journal articles: Proprietary search technology is used to scan PubMed on a regular basis. Our panel of industry experts then selects, from this short-list, articles judged to be of especial importance to drug development. All content is linked to publishers abstracts; depending on institutional licenses readers can also access full text articles
- DailyUpdates, A showcase for breaking research: Research featured by DailyUpdates gains extensive exposure. This is good for us since our initial aim was to establish an environment that helps optimize drug development. We also believe that high quality research deserves recognition and perhaps more importantly, exposure through DailyUpdates is therefore also good for authors and their organizations since this provides a showcase for key studies. This exposure has the added benefit of encouraging industrial funding and licensing where relevant. Authors wishing to have a paper listed should visit our submission center
- Editorial Comment: Our editors provide information ranging from scientific background for more basic research content to mechanism of action, drug development news and market size for content relating to developmental candidates.
