Whilst early stage head and neck cancers remain highly curable by surgery, this form oftreatment is commonly associated with severe disfigurement, and as a result there issignificant opportunity for therapies that reduce surgical based treatments. However, advanced disease, which is poorly served by the current standard of care, remainsthe primary area of unmet need for this indication.
