As an indication that remains largely unresponsive to the majority existing pharmacologicalbased therapies, there is substantial commercial opportunity for pipeline agents that offer even moderate improvements in efficacy. However, in the short-term, drugs that demonstrate impressive toxicity and dosing, which thereby enhance quality of life, are expected to achieve significant commercial success, until, at least, more efficacious agents reach the market.
