The 4th Edition will include Authors Insights (informal, chatty, practical, helpful commentary based on the authors experience), Practitioner Tips (more formal suggestions to steer the reader through the challenges of the particular subject matter), Warnings (cautionary or instructive advisories to help the reader avoid pitfalls or overcome obstacles), Coaches Tips (inspirational advice to help coach the reader through the process), Perspectives (helps the reader consider the impact or role of other parties involved in the action including the donor and his/her family, professional advisors, other nonprofit staff members, or other internal or external players). In addition, the 4th Edition will expand the use of exhibits, documents, and forms, locating more of those CD-ROM materials within the text. The new text will offer enhanced checklists and summaries within each chapter.
