The report finds that in the first quarter of 2009 the industry's mobile phone production volume declined 15.5% sequentially to 135.4 million units, marking the first time since 2003 that the industry experienced two consecutive quarters of sequential decline. In the second quarter of 2009, the industry is expected to see slight growth.
