The Lean Methodology has become a popular management tool that leading companies are using to create more value with less work. It derived mostly from the Toyota Production System (TPS).
A lean enterprise is an organization in which all functions are aligned to create the greatest value and least amount of waste.
There are 5 guiding principles that are fundamental to the elimination of waste. When applied rigorously and throughout an entire organization, they will have a dramatic affect on productivity, cost and quality.*
The author has developed a short course to teach the basic concept of the Lean Methodology. It should be used as an awareness building program. The course is highly interactive and appealing and the author is happy to work with organisations in creating and managing customized versions of this training program.
