This report presents a financial analysis of the recently completed second quarter of 2009 for the following wireless OEMs:
- Alcatel-Lucent - Ericsson - Motorola - Nokia Siemens Networks - Nortel Networks - ZTE
Segmented Financials-Wireless Only
While Alcatel-Lucent, Motorola and Nortel Networks break out their wireless carrier infrastructure revenues, Ericsson, and Nokia Siemens Networks do not. Estimates have been made for what is believed to be the representative of their wireless only revenues. ZTE no longer breaks out their wireless communication systems infrastructure revenues. Estimates have been applied for the wireless portion of ZTE’s Carriers’ Networks revenues for the second quarter.
Revenues converted to USD for these six OEMs totaled USD $10.97 billion in the second quarter of 2009, down 20.9% year over year when compared with revenues of USD $13.86 billion for the second quarter of 2008. Second quarter 2009 revenues were up 12.2% sequentially from revenues of USD $9.78 billion in Q1 2009.
