Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Review

LSU’s Annual Comprehensive OMS Review Course is presented by the Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education in cooperation with Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU School of Dentistry.
Louisiana State University's Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Review Course is now available in video on DVD and in audio on CD, and it is designed specifically for oral and maxillofacial surgery practitioners and residents.
The primary objective of this activity is to focus on comprehensive reviews covering all phases of OMS and advanced cosmetic maxillofacial surgery. The secondary objective of the program is to emphasize critical aspects of surgery with scientific support, preparing surgeons and residents for specialty examinations. The case formats in all lectures stress the techniques used and the scientific justifications for those techniques
Learning Objectives
After viewing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Use knowledge and material as a study guide for specialty examinations - Identify areas of weakness requiring further study - Recognize the format and style of board questions - Demonstrate increased knowledge of oral and maxillofacial surgery
