The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education activity Family Medicine Review is now available on DVD and audio CD formats to fit your schedule and preparation preference.
This intensive and comprehensive program includes a review and update on major subject areas in family medicine. The program is taught by nearly 70 faculty members selected for their expertise in areas related to the successful delivery of family health care. The University of Nebraska Medical Center faculty is nationally recognized for their ability to effectively teach and work with primary care practitioners. The activity combines best practice strategies and education through case studies and lectures. Over 2,500 pages of syllabus materials are provided as a resource for today’s office practice, as well as future reference. Target Audience
The program is designed to provide a comprehensive update on the newer developments in medicine for practicing physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, as well as to prepare family medicine physicians for the American Board of Family Medicine examination.
Program Objectives
After viewing this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe current updates in the management and treatment of patients in family medicine - Apply knowledge of the most recent and pertinent developments in family medicine to daily practice - Utilize this review to assist in preparing for, and passing, the board certification/recertification examination
Accreditation
The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation
The University of Nebraska Medical Center, Center for Continuing Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of 62.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This CME certified activity meets ABFM criteria as a CME component of the Part II requirement for maintenance of certification. The credits earned in this activity count towards the 300 credits per 6 years requirement.
CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of an activity posttest and evaluation, as well as payment of a processing fee.
