The main trends seen during the month include a Y-o-Y decline of 16% in the IT services contract volume. Deals valued at less than $25m contributed 59% to total deal volume. The volume of BPO deals almost doubled compared with the same period last year.
Central and federal government agencies contributed 40% of the month's TCV. Cap Gemini led the IT services space with the highest total deal value signed and the EMEA region saw significant TCV and deal volume growth.
