Intensive Review in Emergency Medicine
CME Group, Nov 2007
The Intensive Review in Emergency Medicine is an intensive review of the core content of Emergency Medicine as defined by the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. The information presented may be useful in preparing for the certification and recertification specialty examinations by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Nurses will be able to gain advanced knowledge to enhance their care of the ER patient. Prior reading of a standard textbook in Emergency Medicine is suggested.
Learning Objectives
After reviewing this educational activity, participants should be able to: - Discuss differential diagnoses - Outline treatment options - Review emergency aspects of various problems presented in the ER Accreditation Statement
