Cleanpower 2009 - Conference Proceedings
Cambridge Investment Research Ltd, June 2009
The 2009 Cleanpower conference took place on Friday 19th June 2009 at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge
The aim of the conference was to arrange an independent discussion of high value for delegates: analytical but clear and practical. This was the third such event, the first having been in 2002. Cambridge Investment Research Ltd has carried out independent commercial analysis for the agency, Invest East of England and other sponsors, during 2004, on how Cambridge and the East of England is exploiting its expertise in printing and related technologies to generate wealth in making technical products. This and other new research and analysis was presented during the conference, which was aimed at R&D and manufacturing companies, and service providers, and all who have an interest in the future of the economy of the East of England. By drawing upon research and themes, developed since the first conference, the conference ensures excellent focus and content for delegates. There are company case studies presented by business leaders, and interactive panel sessions, led by the experienced chairperson, Professor Mike Gregory, Head of the Institute for Manufacturing in Cambridge. EEDA is now a direct sponsor and presents the new regional manufacturing strategy on the day.
