Current Imaging Practice: CT, MR and US program is to provide the clinical radiologist with a practical and up-to-date review of recent advances in diagnostic imaging. This will include presentations on current imaging techniques for the evaluation of diseases of the central nervous, chest, abdomen, and musculoskeletal systems, as well as current approaches to women’s imaging.

Learning Objectives

After viewing this program, participants will be able to:

- Identify the advantages and disadvantages of digital imaging in the diagnosis and evaluation of breast cancer.
- Identify key ultrasound findings associated with gynecologic malignancy.
- Describe current approaches to imaging of patients with headache.
- Describe key findings in head trauma.
- Discuss the current approaches to the diagnosis and therapy of interstitial pneumonias.
- Identify the key MRI findings in joint disease of the knee and elbow.
- Recognize the emerging potential for CT evaluation of coronary anatomy and pathology.
- Describe benefits and limitations of percutaneous abscess drainage.

Credit Designation

UCSF designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. These total credits are also inclusive of 0.75 in Breast Imaging, 6.5 in CT, 6.0 in MR, and 3.5 in Ultrasound.

Release date: September 1, 2007 Credits expire: August 31, 2010

CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of a program evaluation. A processing fee must accompany the completed evaluation.
