Highlights of this title
The regulated nature of utilities has protected budgets, with very few reporting a fall in budgets from the previous financial year. In 2010, most utilities are forecasting an increase in budgets.
Utilities are exceptionally conservative when it comes to spending IT budgets on external suppliers. Throughout the survey, North American utilities are consistently more conservative than in Europe.
