Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging
CME Group, June 2008
Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging program features the advances and diversity of pediatric imaging by reviewing state-of-the-art clinical material and advanced cutting-edge research presentations. This program presents a group of international experts who discuss state-of-the art diagnostic imaging and the outlook for the future direction of the specialty.
Learning Objectives
- At the completion of this program, participants will be able to: - Summarize current information on state-of-the-art pediatric imaging and the practice of pediatric radiology - Scrutinize new technologies for pediatric imaging and be able to understand and apply appropriately and successfully - Review common problems facing pediatric radiologists and possible solutions - Evaluate and apply means of minimizing radiation - Review the latest approaches to pediatric imaging and correlate with clinical outcomes - Describe new advances in research and imaging - Review sedation programs and their implementation - Review the broad scope of pediatric radiology as it relates to everyday practice
Accreditation
These activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the American College of Radiology and The Society for Pediatric Radiology. The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Credit Designation
The American College of Radiology designates this educational activity for a maximum of 37 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Release date: June 1, 2008 Series expires: June 1, 2011
CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of an activity evaluation as well as payment of a processing fee for non-SPR members. SPR members will received credit with remittance of the evaluation as a benefit of membership.
