Radiology Review is a comprehensive review of the practical aspects of all major subspecialties of Diagnostic Radiology. Expert lecturers were chosen for their excellence as teachers, as well as their clinical expertise and insight to help you improve your performance and practice. Appropriate use of conventional imaging modalities such as plain film radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and angiography are discussed. When appropriate, they emphasize newer important imaging modalities including PET/CT, diffusion weighted MR, multichannel CT, and virtual colonoscopy.

Learning Objectives:

- At the conclusion of this Radiology Review program, participants should be able to:
- Better identify subspecialty areas of radiology, including the brain, spine, head and neck, chest, bone, cardiovascular, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, pediatric, mammography, nuclear medicine, oncology, general vascular, and interventional radiology
- Incorporate into their practice clinically important modalities such as diffusion weighted and cardiac MR, virtual colonoscopy, PET/CT, and multichannel CT
- Describe the most effective way to image patients with a variety of disease entities
- Discuss the strengths and limitations of different diagnostic imaging procedures

The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 47 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
