New FTC rules focus on social media endorsements and the content of communications, marking the beginning of more government scrutiny in this space. As the promise of integrating enterprise business data with social media data gets more fully realized, more and more attention will be placed on the content collected by enterprises and stored in enterprise systems, along with the privacy issues they represent.
