The 'Management Guide: Industrial Wastewater Treatment', training course relates to the responsibility, duties, operation, and management of all sewerage facilities, although its primary focus is Industrial Wastewater Treatment processes and systems management.
It discusses industrial wastewater treatment collection, evaluation, and treatment methods, generic process designs, chemical substances present in wastewater, sludge management processes, and how to address treatment difficulties, and it presents specific management tools for improving treatment system operation.
It identifies 6 important management tools that can help any treatment operation improve performance and efficiency.
The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) has authorized the issuance of 8 contact hours toward CHM and CHPM recertification credits for members who complete this training. The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has authorized the issuance of 0.8 continuing education management credits for certified operators who complete this training.
A training certificate is issued after completion of the training.
