- Digital Radiography (DR) does not require the use of cassettes and enables automatic production of digital images after X-ray exposure.

Total U.S. Digital and Computed Radiography Market Unit Shipment Forecasts (2006-2016)

- Consumers are expected to move forward slowly and cautiously with purchases in 2010 as they observe and assess the effects that healthcare policies and gain confidence in the new healthcare system.

- Unit shipment growth is expected to gain momentum beyond 2011, due mostly to stronger growth in the DR market segment.
