This map revises and updates a map done originally for World Fishing in 1986. The world map shows the different FAO Regions which are used for Statistical reporting. Superimposed on this are the divisions and subdivisions of the regional bodies of the world (eg, ICES, NAFO, CEFAC, CFGM, CALMAR, Etc.) to which quotas are normally applied. What makes this map unique is that on top opf all that we have superimposed the national boundaries and 200nm fishing zones of all the countries in the world. This map was brought out in association with BIM to commemorate the 2007 World Seafood Symposium in Dublin.
