Little information exists to help disaster recovery planners re-establish services and operations at the organization's primary site after a disaster event. Return home by implementing the three phases for primary site restoration and resume normal operations:
- Rebuild: Bring the primary site back to operational capability.
- Repatriate: Transition systems, services, and operations back to the primary site.
- Rewrite: Update the disaster recovery plan.
Establishing operations in the recovery site is the first half of the work involved in disaster recovery. After that, services and systems must be returned to primary site facilities to resume normal operations.
