The report finds that Taiwanese Smartphone shipment volume growth in the third quarter of 2009 continued into the fourth quarter. ASP (Average Selling Price) of the Taiwanese Smartphone industry that fell below US$300 in the third quarter of 2009 continued to dwindle in the fourth quarter of 2009. It is anticipated that the industry's shipment volume and value will see double-digit sequential declines in the first quarter of 2010 after hitting record high levels in the fourth quarter of 2009.
