Safety, Health and Environment Alert (SHE Alert)

First published by PRA in collaboration with CEPE in September 1994, SHE Alert provides an alerting service on safety, health and environmental issues relevant to the European coatings industry, offering both breadth and depth, concise alerting abstracts and extended reviews of key topics.
SHE Alert allows you to keep up-to-date, with the minimum effort, with the ever-changing framework of European regulations and specific UK legislation. Published monthly, it is available in printed or PDF formats, or as an online searchable database (SHE Alert Online) – with access to all past abstracts back to October 1995.
Special Features
Each bulletin comprises two main sections:
A concise Digest section of some 50 relevant abstracts of documents pertaining to storage and transport, health and safety, pollution control and chemicals control. A section on world-wide trends outlines developments worldwide, especially those in America, Canada, Asia and Eastern Europe.
A Substance Monitor, which acts as an alphabetical index of all chemicals, substances and preparations covered in the Digest.
In addition to the monthly bulletins, a Reference section is produced which is regularly updated. This includes information on the relevant European safety, health and environmental legislation, classification and labelling information (i.e. R and S phrases), a list of useful addresses, a glossary of terms and a list of acronyms used.
Each document reviewed is assigned a unique SHE number for identification, storage and retrieval. Information retrieval is an integral part of the SHE Alert service, and subscribers can obtain copies of many original documents from the PRA Library.
