For fiscal year 2009/10, which ended on 31st March 2010, Aurobindo reported gross sales worth Rs33,196.0 million (US$700.8 million) and total sales worth Rs33,606.5
million (US$709.4 million). These were increases of 15.1% and 20.0%, respectively, over FY2008/09. Profit after tax rose by 319.1% to Rs5,235.7 million (US$110.5
million).

In September 2010, Aurobindo reported that it had entered into licensing and supply agreements with AstraZeneca to supply several solid dosage and sterile products for
emerging markets.
