In March 2010, Keynote Systems announced the 4.0 release of Mobile Device Perspective, a hosted real-device monitoring solution for troubleshooting, diagnosing and validating mobile applications. This latest release expanded Keynote’s list of supported smartphone devices and added a new interactive add-on option called Mobile Device Perspective interactive (MDPi). Keynote’s focus on the challenges of managing mobile smartphone applications has resulted in a highly flexible and extensible service that puts operators in a position of advantage.
The extended capabilities of MDP4.0, and in particular MDPi, have positive implications for multiple roles within a service or support organization by way of features that can be used in multiple ways as well as special capabilities for the unique needs of each group
