Shirtworks has introduced a new range of workwear under the Helly Hansen brand name which can be customised to include company logos and brands. The range includes a variety of protective apparel items, including flame resistant and high visibility clothing.
Other developments in protective apparel include the new flame resistant Cold Weather Flyer (CWF) glove developed by Masley Enterprises. A SmartSilver additive is used to provide the glove with antimicrobial properties. Trelleborg Protective Products, meanwhile, has developed a new fully encapsulated suit which protects the wearer from harmful chemicals and flash fires.
Huntsman has introduced a new stain repellent treatment, called Oleophobol CP-C, for fabrics made from cotton, synthetic fibres or blends of cotton and synthetic fibres.
Champion Athletic Apparel has developed a prototype of a cold weather jacket which, it claims, is “the thinnest extreme-weather apparel gear ever designed”. Haglöfs has introduced its new Ratio Jacket, which is waterproof, breathable and abrasion resistant. Spiuk, meanwhile, has developed a new range of eco-friendly high performance cycling shirts.
In other developments, Adidas has unveiled its new BodyMapping temperature regulation technology for women’s sports apparel.
