Global Wireless OEM Financial Results Q4 2009 - “Under the Radar” Research Series
EJL Wireless Research, May 2010, Pages: 30
The global wireless BTS infrastructure market revenues decreased by 11.5% for the fourth quarter of 2009 to USD $12.8 billion compared with the fourth quarter of 2008
Wireless revenues showed a sequential increase which is not surprising given the seasonally strong Q4. Wireless revenues for 2009 were USD $46 billion, down 17% and exactly within the range of -15 to -20% that the publisher had forecasted on a USD basis. The report provides a unique perspective on the global wireless infrastructure revenues for major wireless OEMs including Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Motorola, Nokia Siemens Networks, Nortel Networks, and ZTE.
ZTE was the only vendor in the analysis who reported an increase in wireless revenues for 2009. The publisher's current view for 2010 revenues is for the market to be -5% to +5% compared with 2009 on a USD basis
