This report presents Taiwanese WiMAX CPE shipment volume and value forecast and recent quarter review of shipment volume, value, ASP, shipment ranking, and product mix. The report also provides price trends, production locations, shipment destinations, business types by ODM/OEM/OBM, and customer portfolios. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with WiMAX CPE makers. This report finds that Taiwanese WiMAX CPE shipment volume scored new high in full-year 2009 due to WiMAX carriers' positive outlook for subscriber growth in 2010. The fourth-quarter shipment volume even surpassed the one million mark. In the first half of 2010, as the results of various large-scale bid projects are not yet revealed, the first-quarter shipment volume was expected to decline compared with the previous quarter. It is expected that Taiwanese manufacturers' shipment performance will not improve until the bid results are announced in the second quarter.
